Family Home Visiting

- Health Beginnings Postpartum home visit to offer to all mothers and their newborns to provide health education, screening, resource and referral.
- Maternal & Child Health Home Visiting Prenatal education and counseling to at risk, low income pregnant women in order to prevent complications with pregnancy and improve birth outcomes.
Child Passenger Safety Seat Program
Public Health Nurses certified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Association provide education and training with return demonstration, to properly install car seats. See calendar of events for schedule of clinics.

Early Hearing Detection & Intervention
Public Health Nurses work with the Minnesota Department of Health to follow up with families whose children need further testing for hearing.
